Cleanse your face in the morning and evening with Eucerin UltraSENSITIVE Cleansing Lotion. Cleanse your body with Eucerin AtopiControl Bath and Shower Oil. These products can be used during acute flare-ups of Atopic Dermatitis as well as during the period between flare-ups.
During a flare-up Apply Eucerin AtopiControl Acute Care Cream to the relevant affected area to improve skin condition. Eucerin AtopiControl Acute Care Cream can be used alongside medical acne treatment. If you are also using a topical medical product apply that treatment before Eucerin AtopiControl Acute Care Cream. All our daily care products can also be used during a flare-up and should be applied after your medication and Eucerin AtopiControl Acute Care Cream. Daily care for the periods between flare-ups Apply the appropriate daily care product: Eucerin AtopiControl Cream: a thick cream for specific areas of your body such as the elbow folds and knee cavities Eucerin AtopiControl Lotion: a lighter lotion that is easy to apply all over your body Eucerin AtopiControl Hand Cream: which is also suitable for Hand Eczema Eucerin AtopiControl Face Cream: specially formulated for facial skin and an ideal make-up base
Atopic skin is particularly sensitive to UVA and UVB rays. For this reason, if your skin is going to be exposed to sunlight, we recommend that you apply a sun protection product after your care product. Try Eucerin Sun Creme SPF30 or Eucerin Sun Creme SPF50+ for your face and try Eucerin Sun Lotion Extra Light SPF30 or Eucerin Sun Lotion Extra Light SPF50 for your body.

We choose all our ingredients with great care and never compromise on quality. Learn more about the key ingredients of this product.
Licochalcone A is a powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing ingredient. It is derived from the root of the Chinese Licorice plant (Glycyrrhiza Inflata) which uses natural compounds to protect its cells from excessive sunlight. When used in skincare products, Licochalcone A works to reduce inflammation and neutralize free radicals that negatively influence skin cells and accelerate the aging process. It helps to protect the deeper epidermal skin layers from sun-induced effects.
Decanediol (Decylene Glycol) is a moisturising ingredient with anti-bacterial properties. It is known to fight bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus (which plays an important role in Atopic Dermatitis) and Propionibacterium acnes (which is involved in the development of acne).
Ceramides are important lipids in the hydrolipid film (which protects the external layers of skin). Produced naturally in healthy skin, they strengthen the skin barrier, helping to prevent moisture loss due to evaporation and keeping out irritants that can cause inflammation and itching. When skin’s Ceramide levels fall the skin barrier is impaired. Skin can start to lose water and become dry and irritated.
Eucerin uses synthetic Ceramides that are biologically-identical and that enhance skin’s natural barrier – locking in moisture and preventing dryness and irritation.
Evening Primrose Oil is a natural plant oil that contains a high percentage of Omega-6 fatty acids, namely Linoleic and Gamma-Linolenic Acid. These help stabilise the skin’s natural protective barrier and reduce moisture loss, which in turn soothes and nourishes rough and dry skin.
Grape Seed Oil is a rich source of essential fatty acids and Vitamin E. The polyphenols and flavonoids found in Grape Seed Oil are strong anti-oxidant compounds and, thus, provide protection from damage caused by free radicals while Linoleic acid soothes and nourishes skin.
Is Eucerin AtopiControl Acute Care Cream suitable for use on children?
Yes, so long as your child is four weeks or older.
Can I use Eucerin Atopic Control Acute Care Cream on my face and body?
Yes. The cream can be applied liberally to whichever part of your body is experiencing a flare-up of Atopic Dermatitis
How much Eucerin AtopiControl Acute Care Cream should I use?
You should use as much as you find you need to soothe your skin and reduce the sensations of itchiness. You can apply the product liberally and as often as needed.
Can I use Eucerin AtopiControl Acute Care Cream instead of my usual medication for Atopic Dermatitis?
Eucerin AtopiControl Acute Care Cream is not a pharmaceutical product and is not intended to replace one.
Eucerin AtopiControl Acute Care Cream works effectively alongside medication to help improve your skin condition and reduce itching during flare-ups of Atopic Dermatitis. Your doctor will be able to advise on how and when to apply or take your medication. If you are using a medical ointment or cream, we recommend you apply that first and allow it to absorb before applying Eucerin AtopicControl Acute Care Cream.
What is the difference between Eucerin AtopiControl Acute Care Cream and Eucerin AtopiControl Cream?
Eucerin AtopiControl Acute Care Cream offers intensive care for flare-ups of Atopic Dermatitis. Eucerin AtopiControl Cream is intended for daily use and can be used in the period between flare-ups when skin is calmer as well as alongside medication and/or Eucerin AtopiControl Acute Care Cream during a flare-up.
